I`m always asking my customers to think about quality, not price. We offer several informational articles, blogs, and site pre-purchase informational pages available for our customers to read. My weakness is talking about quality, always talking about quality products to no end, and only touching on the safety of outdoor products. Just reading a news article posted Nov 24, 2009 in Boston about a 11 year old girl that bled to death after falling on a glass table at her home, not being able to quote details due to copyright. what a bad ending and truly sorry for this unfortunate ending. I can say that in the article it states, a possible new glass furniture law may be coming. The whole point is safety, when children are playing around furniture anything can happen, avoid buying cheap and only select safe patio sets, patio tables, and outdoor glass and metal products. Ask the supplier if the glass is shatterproof, get as much information from the supplier or manufacturer available. Safety is your responsibility before placing your order, be smart and shop safe.Making good buying decisions... Being a supplier of outdoor furniture products, my duty as a responsible business person is to present the facts for what they really are. Safety is always #1 and making a sale is 2nd, do some research before buying patio sets, patio chairs and outdoor products. Exploding glass table tops, can be a major problem with some suppliers, and after the explosion comes the medical and legal cleanup, what a mess. After viewing a major product line, a distributor of, patio tables, and outdoor furniture, finding out that the manufacturer is no longer in business, what a sick feeling. Can the customer get a replacement glass top for a reasonable price, or is it better to buy a new table or set for the same price as the glass replacement?. I could go on and on about safety, do your research and buy quality outdoor products. Always think smart, shop safe and enjoy your new purchase.
